Description
GoodVole is a new independent game studio. It was founded by Jaakko Assola in 2013 and it's located in Espoo, Finland.
History
Before starting GoodVole and Sandmason, Jaakko Assola worked at RedLynx, involved in games such as Trials Evolution and MotoHeroz. In the beginning of 2012, he started working on his master's thesis, dealing with the dynamic cave technology later used in Sandmason. Work on the thesis eventually led to a long one-man project, the result of which was the game. Fortunately, a couple of occasional but invaluable helpers and several enthusiastic testers joined the project along the way. The company was officially founded in September 2013. The development of Sandmason has been challenging without any funding, but the game is finished now.
